On Day 5,
we went to Sonobe High School & Kyoto Station.
Early in the morning, we met up with our RV senior, YingZhen, who is a sensei!! :O
We had a really fun yet tiring run to the school as we were running late. As it was uphill, our legs were aching from the run ):
However, we still manage to reach their school gate!
One special thing about the schools in Japan is that we have to take out our shoes and wear a pair of green slippers within the school compound. ^^
Shoes to be placed to wear the green slippers
Then, we did our very INTERESTING skit to the students there! It was really fun!
What is NX and WL doing????
Also, we attended English lessons with the Japanese students and it was really fun ^^ Also, we get to know more about their culture!

Next, we move on to visit an art class and guitar class! It was really interesting as it is very different from CCAs in Singapore.

Then, at the guitar lesson, we joined the students We sang to the song country road and let it be! Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be~

Afterwards, we visited a few more English classes!
Felicia and Cheryl are sharing about their partner in English and Japanese to the class!
Afterwards, we had lunch in their classrooms with them! It’s a culture for them to bring their own bento set and eat with friends in school!
YUMYUM! Bento set from convenience store :)
YUMYUM!!
After the lunch, students in the whole school will have a cleaning session, whereby they move all tables & chairs to the side and clean the floor & windows. It is unique as this can be rarely seen by schools in Singapore today!!! We had a taste in cleaning the floor!
Then we went out of the school compound to see the club activities! But it was really cold *brrrrr*
Soon, it was the end of our school trip! We interviewed YZ and also her colleague, Pia, from New Zealand. It was interesting to know more about the students in the school.
At around 7pm, we headed to KYOTO STATION! The shopping malls at station sell many things, but most importantly, it has a RAMEN ALLEY!!!
Seems like it’s a good place for dinner^^
OISHIIIIIIII
The Kyoto station is 11 storey high! So, we went to the sky garden and we see an awesome scenery!!
Other than that, there is a christmas tree that is 4 storey high!! It was an awesome place as we could sit at the stairs and listen to the songs played!
We also sang with the song!! (Video to be uploaded)YUMYUM!!
